María Judith (Judy) Rodríguez-Martyak is an attorney in Doylestown, PA, who focuses her practice on Family Law, Collaborative Family Law and Family Mediation.  She has been in practice since 1994 and is the current owner of the Law Office of María Judith Rodríguez-Martyak.

 

Ms. Rodríguez-Martyak received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico, an M.S. in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Binghamton, and in 1994 she received a J.D. from St. Louis University Law School, in St. Louis, MO. 

 

Ms. Rodríguez-Martyak is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars, Bucks County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She clerked in Missouri for Senniger, Powers, Leavitt & Roedel, a prominent Intellectual Property firm.  Prior to becoming an attorney, she was a practicing research scientist in the areas of electrochemistry at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and in photonics research at AT&T Bell Laboratories.

 

Ms. Rodríguez-Martyak has numerous scientific publications, lectured at the local and national level in the area of corrosion chemistry and received several awards during her career as a scientist.  She is also a regular lecturer in Family Law and Family Law - Immigration related issues. She received various awards from the Bucks County Bar Association and from the Pennsylvania Bar Association for her Pro Bono work for the Bucks County community. From 2014 through 2018, she has received the annual Top Family-Law Attorneys Award.

 

Ms. Rodríguez-Martyak has served on the Board of the Latino Leadership Alliance of Bucks County, as the Secretary of the Women Lawyers Division of the Bucks County Bar Association, and as the President of the Board of the Chemistry Alumni Community of Binghamton University in New York.  She has also served as president of the Board of Dance Theatre of Pennsylvania, a non-profit, pre-professional Dance Company, and as an Advisory Board Member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet Society (PABS). For fifteen years, she was the Costume Designer for PABS and for Pages-to-Pirouettes, a non-profit professional Ballet Company.

Ms. Rodríguez-Martyak has been married for thirty-three years to Nicholas M. Martyak, and they have two children, María Elena, who resides in Europe, and Nicholas, who resides in North Carolina.
